I have been selected for the 8th year to exhibit at Gallery 21 in the Spanish Village of Balboa Park in San Diego. I am so thrilled!
The show opens on Wednesday October 3rd until Monday October 22. The gallery is open everyday from 11:00 to 6:00. I will be there most of the time if you want to chat with me!
Russian-born, San Diego-based street photographer extraordinaire, Lev Tsimring, is exhibiting with me. He will be at the reception.
Lev is an accomplished theoretical physicist who has been traveling for much of his adult life, giving lectures all over the world and simultaneously perfecting his unique style of photography. Tsimring’s photography is both a tapestry of chance encounters and a staggeringly sharp, intimate look at human interaction and expression.
Both Lev and I visit museums wherever we go. In this exhibit, Lev is displaying humorous, emotive, and sometimes almost surreal images out of the interaction of museum viewers with the art on the walls.
For this exhibit, I have chosen to display, through installations, mixed media, photographs and digital media, the amazing street art that adorn our city walls that time, weather, and the talent of street artists have created for everyone to see. It is a free Museum of the Streets.
